MAKOTO/KEZ YM feat TAKUMI KANEKO from CRO MAGNON - Chameleon

Legendary Drum & Bass producer Moot teams up with house producer Kez Ym to come up with a version of the Headhunters classic Chameleon. Selecting their favourite elements of this jazz funk gem and assisted by the rhodes of Takumi Kaneko (Cro Magnon) they produce a respectable version that has already found favour of the DJ boxes of Gilles Peterson,Jazzanova,Kyoto Jazz Massive and Simbad. On the flipside GUYNAMUKAT (the production du of Guynamite & Nik Weston)deliver a slightly more boogie fied styles in instrumental and vocal versions (the latter ably assisted by Shea Soul).

New Silhouette Brown Album

News from the Silhouette Brown myspace that a new album is due early 2010.

Whilst the first album featured the vocals of Deborah Jordan it appears this album will largely have Bembe Segue on vocals as well as Phillys Lady Alma. Production will be, of course, 4 Hero's Dego and Kaidi Tatham.

Got my eye out for this an I'll feature any updates here. Just a little reminder from the first album
