Three years ago today we lost one of the greatest ever producers in J Dilla. He died too young after battling the disease Lupus for many years.

Sadly his mother, Maureen Yancey, is now suffering from the same disease. In order to help raise funds for her medical bills Stones Throw designer Parra has created this T Shirt with proceeds from the sales going to Ma Dukes.

Parra's T Shirt designs always look great and this is no exception, plus you get to help to person who brought her son James Yancey into the world and blessed us with so much great music

Peter Hadar - She's 4 Months

New Jersey born Peter Hadar, known as Peter Winstead JR to his mother, made the switch from fashion design to music after losing his job in 2004. The fashion worlds loss has been the soul music lovers gain as the self styled "Cool Weirdo" has blessed us with two albums, Memories of the Heart (2006) and Well Dressed For The Art Show (2008).

Kenichiro Nishihara - Humming Jazz EP

Nice 7" from Japanese jazz musician Kenichiro Nishihara. Beautiful fusion of live jazz music with rhymes from various emcees.

Weak pound against the Yen is killing me though,£12.99 for a 7". I don't like pay more than a £ an inch for vinyl! Also shouldn't an EP have more than 2 tracks on it. Never mind great music none the less.
The tracks are off an album which may offer value for money
