Setenta are a French 7 piece band with a funky Puerto Rican salsa flavour who cite Joe Baatan, Mandrill, The Roots, Tito Puente and Marcus Miller amounst their influences.
They have just released a 7" single on Dutch label Hot Casa which includes an interesting cover of the Eurythmics Sweet Dreams. Whilst this will gain media interest it's the B Side, Funky Tumbao that shows of their talents
